Terms of Service

1. GENERAL TERMS

• All drawings may include a subtle signature that you may not remove.

• I might record the drawing process and post it on my Youtube/Tik-Tok page.

• Some commissions might take longer due to their complexity; generally between 1 – 4 weeks.

• I have the right to reject any order that I am not comfortable with drawing for any reason.

• I am willing to change some of my terms of service if you ask before I start working on your commission. For example; If you are not comfortable with me posting your commission on my social media, please let me know.  
  
  

2. PAYMENT

• I only accept USD currency as payment through PayPal and Venmo.

• Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after sketch approval.

• Please don't send me any payment before I have requested you to send me the payment.
  
  

3. PROCESS AND DELIVERY

• You will be notified when I start your commission, with this you will receive the first rough sketch. At this point you will lose the opportunity to get a full refund. (see point 5 below for more information on refunds)

• Throughout the time I work on your commission I will send you progress pictures to review. I want to make sure the commission is to your liking.

• The amount of reviews you will get depends on the complexity of the work.

• Feel free to ask for big changes such as the background, pose(s), perspective ect. during the sketching process.

• During our reviews of the line-work and coloring stages I will accept small changes for no extra charge (adjusting colors and shading, minor details ect.); An extra fee will be applied if you want bigger changes during these stages.

• After the commission is finished changes cannot be made unless a fee is applied.

• The work-in-progress images that you will see during the review will usually be screenshots and will be smaller in size than the finished piece. They might also include a watermark.

• The time it takes to finish your commission varies from 1 to 4 weeks depending on factors such as the complexity of the commissioned piece, my health, and other work. I will do my best to finish your commission in a timely manner.

• If anything comes up that will slow down the progress of the commission, I will let you know asap.

• Once the piece is finished you will receive the full-resolution image along with a web-friendly size. Please note that there is no physical product.

4. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY

As the artist, I claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the buyer:

• I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.

• I will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork or the character(s) in it.

• I will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms.

• I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online on my social media pages, in my portfolio, as well as in publications such as art books.
  
  

The buyer is allowed to:

• Use the commissioned piece for personal use. You can upload it to your social media pages, forums, ect.

• Use the artwork on their Youtube channel and in monetized videos as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings.

• Print the artwork for personal use.

• Claim their character(s) as their own, but not the artwork itself.

• Use the artwork to promote themselves. Crediting me for the artwork is very appreciated but not needed.
  
  

The following is considered copyright infringement:

• Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially – aka making money off it in any way.

• Claiming the artwork as your own.

• Removing my signature from the artwork.

• Altering the artwork without my consent.

5. REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY

• The buyer is not allowed a full refund once I started working on the commission.

• I reserve the right to keep 50% of the commission price if you choose to cancel after the initial rough sketch is shown.

• If you cancel your order before I started working on it, you can get a full refund.

• If for any reason I am unable to start your commission you will receive a full refund.

• A refund is not available once the commission has been finished and no issues were brought up prior to completion.

• If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback at any point. I will transfer the money back to you myself.​
  
  

If the buyer breaks any of the above stated points they will lose all the before mentioned rights to the commissioned artwork, and I will have the right to profit further from the commissioned artwork in any way I see fit. If you have a problem with any of these statements, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to payment.
